Glazer get to a after drink brawl with Shittu, bot
It looks too quiet now WC is gone ... albeit all the rumours which we have so used to after all these years ... I reckon only when Fergie is back then we will see something ...

Not hoping to see any super-expensive signings really ... I hope we could keep it decent and yet buy superb ( crazy thinking nowadays but it's possible ... in so far I think no team has spent big this off-season except City )

SAF will put the wrongs right for this coming season (four players I reckon), but it will include a MASSIVE signing. :)

Oh yeah, he should have been at Carrington today. Horses yesterday I think.

I'm getting bored....c'mon Fergie, I know its impossible that you're only now starting to try to sign players.

Sigh...endless refreshing of internet football sites to look for the latest news with quotes is killing my mouse button.

for me it's like not really wanted to surf any football websites for a while to come ... Getting too anxious everyday turning on the pc but it's always dissapointing so far ... Although deep down I know we will definitely see something very soon ... Just that disspointment daily is not good ! .. :p

Getting really stressed looking for any news on transfers... here's hoping we sign 3 world class players...

Nesta, Ferdinand and Ronaldo?

The first 2 would be enough...no ctually just Nesta would be good enough for me.

:D

Fergie is back ... and I think we will rumble on now ...

Much hype has been surrounded Rio ... well I like him as a defender quite a lot but again - for that 30mil .. it's just too much of $ on a single player ... we have to think of those outside possibility like players getting long-term injury bla bla ... it's just too much a risk for me but well, Real did it almost every year and they won the CL .. so nothing I could insist abt it ...

Back to our original discussion though ... what abt another Fullback and a new No.9 ? ... I am as eager to know the end results on this as our search for a new CB ... With Blanc continue for another year now - I would think we will have 1 CB, 1 Striker(link man) and 1 FB coming ... with the FB probably someone of lesser reputation ..

in united's recent history the number 9 has always been either world class (hughes, law) or a many goals a season man (dwight in his prime,

the new number nine will have to be special, the only signing that would become as a shock to many people is ronaldo, this and ronny refusing to talk about his future so far.

and only vaguely mentioning inter once in all of his recent interviews, REAL's president recently mentioned that he rates ronaldo highly but, thinks he has not recovered fully from his knee injury, also nike would be well pissed if he signed for club that was sponsored by adidas, that is one of the resons he is always linked to barca, when spain is mentioned.

maybe ronnie wants a new contract or he wants manutd.

there are only maybe three options for ronnie, stay at inter gop to barca (who are not the team they used to be), go to to best nike sponsored club in the world, MANCHESTER UNITED.

i say use the nike money to buy a world class player every year, starting ronaldo this year and ronaldhino next year.

'Use the Nike money'?

The deal is 303m for 13 years. On a yearly average, it's 23.3m pounds. I'm not sure how much we got from Umbro, but it's hardly as if we get a Ronaldo-worth sum addition from Nike every year or something.

who cares how much they cost

If they buy Ferdinand Nesta and Ronaldo and spend all 303 million on them and then we go on and beat Real 5-0 in the final of the champions league and win the premier league then as far as I am concerned it is money well spent.

I don't care what they spend.
