Went to see em at Sheffield Arena on Sunday. Been waiting to see them for years and although they were good I was a little dissapointed by the set list. No run to the hills, Can I play with madness, bring your daughter, aces high, 22 acacia ave, Acient mariner to name but a few. Anyone else seen them on the tour this year?

I think they do two separate tours. One for the classics, and one for the more recent material.

You could go to 5 shows in a row and they still miss songs that you like out.

It's not poor set lists but the fact they have a metric feckton of material.

Personally any show of there that they do no play the entirety of Iron Maiden, Killers, Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind and Brave New World is disappointing because those albums are nothing short of Metal perfection.

Missed them this year.

Seen them 1985 World Slavery Tour, 1988 Donnington, 1990 No Pryaer for the Dying, Donnington 1992 and Sonisphere Knebworth 2010.

They're like a lot of bands of that age in that most folk want the 'classics' but there's just too many. Fair play to them though - they've got their 5th wind now and are still picking up young fans.

One of my favourite albums. First Maiden album I bought too.

I think now, if someone said to me "right, you can see one more band, and then you're banned from all gigs," I'd go and see Iron Maiden. Actually quite annoyed with myself that I haven't.

When I saw them they did Genghis Kahn which they hadn't done for many years. That was a pleasant surprise.
