spoke with a lot of English rugby fans around town in Dublin last night, apart from their obvious disappointment they took defeat squarely on the chin and were good craic in the banter stakes

It was a day to remember alright. I don't think I will ever experience an atmosphere like that again. Last saturday covered about 50 of my 100 things to do before I die. It was definately an 'I was there moment'.
I have to say the English fans were great afterwards. They didn't slip off back to their hotels, they stayed around and enjoyed the banter, sing-songs and celebrations. They sang Jerusalem (according to the fans, their proper anthem) with pride in the pub after and got a massive round of applause.
Amazing day, amazing result, amazing crowd.
