Inter use Ronaldo bait for Beckham

United could exchange Inters Ronaldo for Becks if Kenyon doesnt reach an agrrement with his agents!

That would be at the moment. What TF does Kenyon know about football anyway, surely the decision will be made by the new manager regarding such deals. Ok, Kenyon could do a Becks for cash, but not a swap - that's silly! Especially trying to swap a midfield player for a striker - we've got no real clas cover in Beckhams position.

Chadwick and Veron can both play right midfield.

Ronaldo was the best player in the world when he was 20. If he recovers fully, which may be a long shot, he will be the best attacker in the world.

I'd rather have Christian Vieri than Ronaldo, he's an injury risk. But is there any truth to this?

It is as many truth as we are going to exchange Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer with Emile Heskey!

Ronaldo???? no thanks, at this moment i'd rather have Javier Zanetti, that is if Beckham was to leave, and that is if we had to do it on exchange.....

I would want Ronaldo. I think if he can get fully fit again he will be the best striker in the world again. I wouldnt mind this deal to happen though it probably wont. Inter have spent loadsa money on Ronaldo on wages and treatments so they probably wont let him leave.

if he (ronaldo) does good in world cup and recovers like keano or nistelrooy did , then we could swap him for becks, and play either veron there, or give fletcher a chance to become the next beckham.

beck was one of the best crossers in the world, but he gets easily marked out of games nowadays, and hasn't really been able to combat this as he doesn't tend to take on his markers, and also hasn't been consistent in his crosses from the right, since after the treble.

when the last time we scored from a cross on the right from beckham?, recently giggs and silvestre have been providing goal scoring chances from the left.

Our right hand side supply has dried up recently, maybe fletcher should be eased into the squad and then the team.

ronaldo (if fully recovered),on the other hand would be far more effective in unlocking 10 men behind ball teams such as liverpool etc.. and would also be the best partner for ruud, as he would be marked by at least two defenders all the time.

imagine this:

giggs (man marked by at least 1)
veron (man marked by at least 1)
Ronaldo giggs (man marked by 2)

leaves ruud ,scholes and keano to run the show.

weak defence would not have much to do, maybe just long balls by opposition team to relief themselves from our attacking prowess.

look at Real madrid, there defence is not brillient and has now become used to long balls etc..

but they score shitloads (much more than us) for fun.

;)

could also have return of injury clause in the ronaldo contract.
