I don't know who "the greatest..." is so I am starting this thread.

It was an awesome match. One of the finest football matches I've seen recently.
indeed, loved every second of it, i hate that brady guy, but you have to admit that the man does know how to do the job, they lost but playing great football

im happy for manning, he deserves to play one superbowl game

great game. I thought it was over after NE scored two touchdowns in less than 5 mins there - but the Colts dug deep and thankfully they came back strong.
:D

sadly :(

don't take this the wrong way if you're a colts fan, but the Colts are a gay team.

they just remind me of gayness.

i used to think the same, but after yesterday´s game that they come back from an 18 points difference, i think they might not be that "gay" at all

It's not that the Pats didn't show up in the 2nd its that the Colts did. They stopped going for the long ball every play and started making the intermediate passes (10-20 yards), this opened up the running game and the long ball for a couple passes (namely the ones to Fletcher and Clark).

The Pats came right back after Indy tied it with a touchdown and then did it again with a field goal. They fought, but the Colts tired out the defence and that was the deciding factor.

we should never have lost the game though:(

New England should never have been in this game, as San Diego handed them a victory the weekend before.

The appropriate result occurred - Indy winning. Fantastic game; an instant classic. Probably the best playoff game in the last 20 years, including Super Bowls.

Indy will walk Super Bowl XLI. Unless it's raining in Miami.

The thought of Rex Grossman holding the Vince Lombardi trophy makes me ill. It would be the equivalent of Joe Schmoe going from busdriver in one month to personal chaffeur for Carmen Electra the next month. Grossman is arguably the worst starting QB to ever appear in a Super Bowl.

ahahahaha the Pats lost I knew it. 300 bucks richer you stupid Bostonian mofos. ahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

ps. Brady sucks my arsehole with that last pick, sell Brady buy Dot Cotton

feck the haters. Colts are a bunch of right-wing Mormon closet cock suckers and it kills me to see them win anything. I hate them so much.

This game took so much out of me. It hurts that it was so close. Haven't really busted a few brain cells as a result of a sporting event in a while, but this was the killer for sure. Ouch... I won't be watching the Super Bowl, but we fought well and it was a great game the whole way through. I thought that Brady was gonna pull out another miracle but somehow I knew it wasn't meant to be. I can't believe I feel bad for a team that has just come off three championships in the past five years, but I just can't stand that Manning has finally broken his 'curse' or whatever. Here's to those cuntrags losing sorely, to a shit QB or not. feck you all.

ahahahahahahaha Pats suck, Brady is a closet bum king

Brady is sleeping with Gisele, you can't do much better than that.

Do you even like the Colts? What is the point of your bullshit? Stop being a dyke.

I lost respect for Brady when he acted like a dick after the 'jumping on the Chargers logo' thing.

I've really really enjoyed this post-season - the best in a decade or more.

I hope to god the Superbowl lives up to the hype. I'm rooting for Rex (UF boy against UT, it's no contest!), but if Payton Manning and especially Tony Dungy finally get the rings they deserve, I'm perfectly fine with that.

agreed on that. always seemed to me to be a classy guy. felt so bad for him last year too when his son died.

honestly man, Gisele is not as hot as her mass marketing team would have you believe

yes I like the Colts. especially this year with Addai complementing Rhodes. I can't say I like them more than Chicago tho. class defense always impresses me more than class passing. I'll be pulling for Chicago because I think Peyton/Dungy will eventually get a ring, and Urlacher might not. Besides, Chicago is a legendary team that I have always loved.

the point of my posts is to remind the world how shit Brady is and that his beard won't stay on forever.

it wouldn't matter if Culpepper was back there the way their defense is playing, that and Hester could make it more interesting than you might think

On a scale of 0-10 for comebacks, that gets a zero.

Come on rrarraroon you can do better than that

you've hurt my feelings too much with the gay remark, I cannot rebound

frankly, it is quite insulting and I think you should be banned. bum love is not something to make fun of.

give me a kiss :)

Vince Young > Manning > Brees > Palmer > Hasslebeck > Bulger > Brady

you do realize he did not even make the Pro Bowl this year right?

Rivers and Cutler will be better than Brady within 2 years as well.

The same defense that's giving up about 5 yards per rush in the playoffs and allowed tons of points during the final four games of the regular season and against Seattle before actually stepping up against New Orleans?

I agree on Hester but he does tend to fumble at times (ex: vs Seattle).

Indy's D is giving up 110 yards less per playoff game than Chicago has. Indy has surrendered fewer points per game than Chicago. Indy's D has given up 40 points in 3 games (deducted 7 off Manning INT for TD), Chicago gave up 38 in 2 games but did a great job shutting down New Orleans (although you spot any opponent 4 tunorvers and you'll most likely lose). I can see Manning throwing for over 300 yards. I can't envision Grossman doing this. I also don't know if Chicago will run the ball effectively as none of the 3 playoff opponents did against Indy. But it's possible. And Manning has struggled at times this January. Give Chicago a short field and they'll manage to score some points.

Indy's offense knocked off the #1 ranked defense (Baltimore) and #6 ranked defense (New England - scoring 38 points to boot). KC was ranked 16th and gave up 23 points. In contrast, Chicago has knocked off the 11th and 19th ranked defenses (New Orleans and Seattle, respectively).

Compare points per game:
vs Kansas City (t-11th @ 19.7) - scored 23
@ Baltimore (1st @ 12.6) - scored 15
vs New England (2nd @ 14.8) - scored 38

vs Seattle (19th @ 21.2) - scored 27
vs New Orleans (13th @ 20.1) - scored 39

Offense rankings:
Kansas City - 16th total, 15th scoring
Baltimore - 17th total, t-12th scoring
New England - 11th total, 7th scoring

Seattle - 19th total, 14th scoring
New Orleans - 1st, 5th scoring

But on any given Sunday...
