Implications from today's games

You still can't go above Liverpool even if you beat Fulham tomorrow ;) . And that's a big IF, Fulham are not from among the relegation candidates that have contributed to your recent 'resurgence'.

You're back in with the big boys from tomorrow. Good luck (though not too much of it, you've already had enough over the last 10 years ;) )

So thats the implication from todays game? Wow! and I thought you lot were thick.

Look on the bright side. Big Shite will shut up on his "ur wins were against poor opposition" crap after our win tomorrow. ;)

This is the 'we stink but hopefully someone can take care of you because if not I don't know what were going to do' thread.

If they'd lost I guess he would have said we can go over them but they still have a game in hand.

Geesh!

I think we 'wiped the brow' today. ;)

That's four points out of six from West Ham this season. I'll settle for that with hindsight.

  WTF Please read your post and You will see the rubbish you just siptted out, how old are you, I bit 14-15. Take this kind of inellectually rich contribution to Kraptalk.
Talking about luck, I see you had a bit of it today bigshite. <img src="graemlins/yawn.gif" border="0" alt="[Yawn]" />

Big Chief, your one bitter cnut, were only just half way through the season and your allready spitting about luck and everything else.

The real implications are that

Arsenal are the favourites, playing with the determination of real champions

Leeds & Man Utd 2nd favourites, simply two of the best teams/ squads around, could win it but are reliant on Arsenal slipping here & there.

Liverpool, Chelsea & Newcastle are dark horses, temas like that never win championships, they have no championship pedigree.
How many goals have pool scored in their last 5 games???? Looks like your are in for a bad yr now that the plastic trophys are melting away. Only the FA Cup left

i wouldn't be satisfied... 5 points from the last 15 isn't championship winning form.

BTW, wasn't West Ham a 'lucky' team for L'Pool? ;)

nah hes only chancing his arm that if we dont get a result tomorrow it'll prove that we cant beat decent sides.

Even bloody John Barnes said Liverpool were lucky today because Heskey handballed it just before they scored or some shit like that.

"Oi Big Chief how did your new signing play today?

Ermm whats his name?

Oh thats it D'Urso.

I don't think any team in the league has shown "championship winning form" yet!

i think Man Utd, Arsenal & Leeds are seperating the men from the boys, the cling ons are falling to the wayside

:D

agreed, Leeds will cling on for a few more weeks but come February its us and the Arse
<img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

I think Leeds will play a part in that they could beat the odd team here and there to cause a few scares!

But after today (Sunday) its us against the Arse and they have the advantage!

I presume you left out Liverpool by mistake? ;)

I'm trying to be objective here - Liverpool have a good a chance as any team. To be honest as long as people do not expect things from Liverpool, then anything won is a bonus!

Mathematically they have a better chance than Man Utd but realistically and as bitter as i am id have them as fourth just behind Leeds and ahead of Newcastle & Chelsea.
Btw ppl expect a lot from Liverpool least of all their own fans, will you accept a trophyless season? Its looking more likely every week. :D

So, when are we going to hear about your good old five yr plan?

Yes your clever response to my post is very amusing.

If I say that Liverpool will win the league this year then all you "objective" football fans say that I'm talking the "usual Pool shite".

If I say that Liverpool might not win the league this year then all you "objective" football fans say I'm talking the "usual Pool shite" by saying "next year" etc.

Good to see the art of intelligent debate is alive and well here. ;)

That's the reason I keep coming back for more.
