ahhh yes, most definitely, especially the Unitee part.....

Never treat any opponents lightly. There are no easy games nowadays.

Hey Maccabi fan, there aren't many websites on your club in English. I don't speak Hebrew, so please enlighten me on who the players to watch for are.

no need to move it, it's a discussion about some team that United are playing, hence about United as well :)

Absolutely right spinoza, there are no easy games any more and if people have ALREADY forgotten the first leg with the Hungarian champions I'm a bit perplexed...

Will people never learn..... ......

No one should ever take anything for granted...

Not any more...

I certainly dont want to hear from him/her if they pull off shock of the century <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> </strong><hr></blockquote>

I think you will find he is online now

I came back.

Now to your questions..

Haifa is the third big city after jerusalem and tel aviv.
As you know it's the first time that an Israeli team qualify to the Champions league.
We will try to do some good results. The chances that MAN-UTD will win is something like 90-10%.
I'm very depressed that we will gonna play in cyprus.. but that's it.
5,000 fans of maccabi haifa will be in the old-trafford, and i guess there will be in cyprus a little beat more than 5,000.

You can be happy that Yakubo (the nigerian player) will be suspended from the first match.
I guess that you may know that he signed in Derby but he didn't got a work permit and he returned to Haifa.
You should be afraid also from Haifa's midfilders.
There's 5 Forgien in the team. One of them is the captain of Lithuania- and he his a Defensive Midfilder.
That all I can tell now.

And for some of you... I suggest that you will not think about 6 easy points though MAN-UTD is better.
You know that could be some suprises (the hungrian team).
That game would not be easy.

And may the best one win.

If you have further questions leave it here and I will comeback.

And I sorry if I made some mistakes (I'm 13 years old).

I doubt it, try 2,500 - 3,000.

You can enter the official site:
<a href="http://maccabi-haifa.nana.co.il/frontpage.asp" target="_blank">http://maccabi-haifa.nana.co.il/frontpage.asp</a>
You can see there a part of english
all the site is in hebrew but there's a section called english

you wont get an allocation of 5,000 tickets for the match at old trafford

I doubt it, try 2,500 - 3,000.
<hr></blockquote>
Manchester United really send just 3000 tickets.
All of them sold. But Maccabi - Haifa will probably get another 500 tickets, and i know about 500 people who buy tickets in the official site of manchester united near the gates that maccabi-haifa will get.

Also there are some jews in manchester and there are some israelis that will come to the match.

all the tickets sold in an hour!
and all the flights are fully booked.

Yes.. But that's the number wrote in the newspaper here.

I think you will find your clubs allocation is all you will get

prestwich is a jewish area, but you should know that youll get kicked out if you show your colors in the utd section

are you going?

Speaking of the Haifa game at OT.
I'm probably flying for this one (depends on flights...) I heard tickets for this fixture are on general sale, can I still apply for them as a member ?

are you going?
<hr></blockquote>

No...I want to go to this game but I can't.

Maybe i will go to the game in cyprus.

It's cost something like 600 dollars (without the ticket).
And i have school at the same time...

And just for you knowledge I'm a fan of Man-Utd in england and in europe.

I rather expect you to cheer for United even if you're stuck at home ;)

I was referring to the flying to OT part but you knew that :)

I know nothing about Maccabi Haifa, and i'd be suprised is many United fans did. We should have no problem beating them at OT. It might have been a tough away game if it had been played in Isreal.
Like all games against smaller opposition, especially those from foreign countries you always run the risk of underestimating them.

To Jedi Master Yoda (what a clever name), congratulations on being the only person never to have made a typo when using a computer.

I look foward to your future infallible postings. :)

From what you've posted, and for one so young, you talk a lot of sense.

If you're a good example of your teams supporters then I look forward to the contest even more. You speak with dignity and humility.

Fair play to you
Enjoy the games young man

Oh believe me he's not.
I don't wanna sound as if i'm laughing about it, but 2 years ago when celebrating their championship Maccabi Haifa fans broke into the stadium and while doing that they injured few of their own (in that time the stadium had tall fences who were recently removed for that reason) one of them still in a coma.
I should mention tho that they are not different from any other set of fans in Israel, except for me ofcourse, im a lovely young man :p
