Mods please remove the animal sex pages on the members homepages...only found one under "A"...did'nt wanna keep looking in case somethin else was lurking there...feck knows what else they've planted...

Cheers for that Robbo, I'll delete that one. Could you please check the homepages of the 3961 other members and report back any that are dodgy so that we can delete those too. It's a feck boring job and we've been looking for a volunteer with more time than sense for a while :smirk:

well feck that..was trying to do the right thing and I come up against sarcasm...thats my application for Mod being torn up and thrown in the fire...no dont try to stop me....your chance has gone....and I'll have you know that i am completely lacking any sense whatsoever...so there!!

 We're sorry, please send in your application.

We could do with a laugh. :p

The number of these auto registrations promoting businesses and dodgy sites have decreased (they were appearing at the rate of 10+ a week a few months back) and we do delte them as we find them but unfortunately we'll never stop it completely. I don't think anyone actually visits the sites because they read it here, who reads the details of members who have never posted anyway. I would imagine they are just looking to up their google hit rate by getting their scumware laden sites mentioned on as many 3rd party searches as possible.

Don't eat my eyes ;)

What about changing the registration page so you need to enter one of those security codes? Some web site claim it stops the auto registrations.

Might be worth considering but there's only a few of them and they're not doing anything so it's not really a major problem. Besides, they are upsetting Robbo and that can only be a good thing as it saves the rest of us a job ;) :p

Image verification for registration has been turned on, so hopefully that'll put an end to auto registrations.
