Some crap comments tonight about the Boro' game. We got three points didn't let a goal in against a side that decided to defend & just wait for a break (that didn't come). At this stage of the season it's about getting the points in the bag - remember the six home defeats last season (Boro' being one of them). This game will be forgotten in a months time but the three points are in the bag - so who cares - I certainly don't & it won't make us a bad or boring team overnight.
Two final points 1. remember all the "boring " 1-0 wins in the season we won the championship following Cantona's long ban in 1996 & 2.what would the bindippers have given for the three points we got tonight after their result against the barcodes! :cool:

Champions grind out results at times, and after recent events to avoid defeat and actually win the game is something to be relieved and happy about.
 
it wasnt the best of games but rio is a star! £20.1mill, deal of a life time. come on rio....

Everyone knows that real champions get wins when they are playing below par. Our performance will improve when the level of competition improves. The other 17 teams to visit OT this season will hopefully want to play football. Steve Gibson must be wondering why he's spent £50 million bring players Middlesbrough just to see them play like a bunch of starstruck kids
