Well in fact I feel sorry for him (don't get me wrong, I 'm very happy after this victory I wasn't expecting). I was too sad after Barthez' errors last year to be happy when another keeper makes one. I think bad periods can happen to all keepers. I hope Houillier will stand by his keeper, like Fergie did last year. But I doubt it, considering the way he trated Ginola in the past, making him the scapegoat of the French team.

He is David James Jr. IMO. no matter how good they both can be they'll always have these silly moments that will go on to haunt their fans forever.

he has already been making plans to drop dudek from the side.

when dudek made that mistake, the camera panned to Kirkland. i think everyone was expecting dudek to be substituted.

Laughed my arse off when our fans were chanting his name and putting him off every time the ball went near him <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Blunderweld was dropped for less so I believe Dudek will be out come January.

Tell me please, if he's such a good goalkeeper: why does he always feck up when it matters the most (Champions League, World Cup, etc.)?

Fabien has just defended Dudek on the French TV. Obviously, he can't laugh about what happens to Dudek as he endured the same things last year. He said "Dudek is an excellent keeper and he hasn't suddenly lost his qualities . He's having a bad period, like me last year. I understand what he is feeling. He has to go on and forget what happened".
He also sent a message to Lens keeper Guillaume Warmuz who recently made several blunders and has decided to retire from the French championship for a few weeks "I don't understand his decision, he has to come back to get over those mistakes".

But he always wants to play ! He adores to play, to be on the pitch. Even if his form is not as good as today.

had to agree, seldom see him displaying such elation after a match. This match really means something to him.

If it had been in any other match i probably would have sympathy for him. But feck we beat the dippers.

We have a series of 3 matches against teams Fab really screwed up against last season.

Now thats Liverpool sorted out...

Arsenal and Depor to go...
