Who do you think will win it? etc...

In half an hour's time we have an extremely uneven match coming up with Iceland the favourites to hammer Brazil.
 
If only the redcafe were a country. We have some expert ball handlers in our ranks.

Iceland beat Austria despite Austria having the upper hand most of the time.
 
Why am I not surprised that there are only Icelanders commenting here.. We're the only nation that cares about this sport.

I like handball but our NT is a joke these days, bottled it against Argentina....
 
Richter, would you say that Handball is big in Sweden? Is it like, all the nation follows the big tournaments... or is it just a select group of handball fans.

Just wondering because over here everyone watches the national team, your grandma and everyone.

The Handball NT both male and female is pretty popular among everyone and non handball fans like to watch the Swedish matches in championships. 1.2 million Swedes watched the group stage match vs Poland. It's probably the third or fourth most popular Swedish NT team after the football and ice hockey ones.

Alright, fair enough! Hope you guys manage to pull something out of the group now, it would be awesome to play against you in the semi-finals.

FFS. Iceland - Spain was shocking.

The refs were absolutely useless and the Spanish team was on par for the course (cheating, diving, general cnutery).
 
Very disappointing tournament. Big build up, massive let down. The Spain game was probably the worst performance in recent years. Too many players have been bad in too many matches this tournament. I hope we can get 7th now, maybe even 5th.
