If Utd didn't win the league....

And it was a 2 horse race between Liverpool and Man City, who would you prefer to win?? Is the City hatred largely confined to true Mancunians, or does it incl. 'outsiders'?

Good Post - But that does not mean it warrants an answer.

"Outsiders" generally don't have a problem with City, IMO. The Great satan is Liverpoo'....I quite admire City but would hate to loose to them...things might change if they got really good!!!!!!!!!!

thats coz they never see ciddy fans and never see that fecking look of utter gormless bitter evil they wear on their ahem "faces" (loosely termed).
but at least if city won this thered be less chance of the trophy getting nicked.

Hell will freeze over before the title is between poo and the MASSIVES so i will not answer as it will not happen
:D

Great question. I love having these sort of debates. I think I'd have to go for ciddy cos I hate the scousers more. ;)

Id have to go for city, for starters they would hardly bore us all to debt with boring football.
Seconders i hate LFC and all their evil minions.
Thirders i have a mate home whose a city fan and ive been feeling sorry for him lately.

I'd prefer WWIII too! Hope that Bush or Sadham is a Man Utd fan... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

How long is lately? Since the 1976 League Cup final? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

This is going City's way all too easily.

What about Keegan managing them and all the cobblers that come with the package?

Do you really prefer a Keegan managed City over Pool?

As an outsider, I would have a bigger issue with the Keegan factor and not City fans. Maybe this helps get it more even?

No contest for me. I have never lived in Manchester butI lived in Birkenhead 1968 to 78. I used to hate Everton as much as Liverpool but nowadays I hope they win their annual battle with relegation so the Liverpool fans have one less reason to gloat.

Liverpool are clearly the second best supported here although Kewell, Viduka and co give Leeds support. Arsenal fans seem to be emerging as they get successful but I rarely see City fans.

I don't want the bad old days of getting shit from Liverpool fans as they stroll to another championship.

PS The gap is 'only' four leagues and two European Cups. It is impossible to reduce this significantly, even wipe it out.

Good answer.

Kinda like which would you prefer a hot poker in the eyes or sliding down a railing laden of razor blades.
