P Neville,G Neville,Blanc,Chadwick,May or Fortune were put on the transfer list would any of the top premierships bid for them??
Or speaking hypothetically again if none of these played for us and we bid for them how would you feel/react.

Phil is a utility player, he would not find it hard to move to any top team IMO - to go sit on the bench though. He will be an invaluable asset in that sense.

Gary, will help save teams in need of a more solid right back - he's a better than average player - if not great.

Blanc probably won't be going to another top premiership side, but will find it easy to fit into any young side, or a growing team in Division 1. He will always be top class and will have a lot of offer. I see us making him coach one day.

Chadwick, Fortune I doubt.. not because they're not good, but because top teams have already good squad depth in midfield.. they won't need any extras..

May is past it. Period.

I think Phil would be okay but not good enough for our squad.

Larry is good for the youth having seen and done it all and IMO we should make him our defensive coach.

Gary is usually a reliable right back but IMO he is not getting any better if anything he has gone back a bit

Chadwick and Fortune IMO lack that certain something that makes a United Player

May is only still with us cos he is on a good wage and nobody is willing to take him on and match them one of SAF'S few mistakes IMO

Luzhny, Lauren, Keown, Kolo Toure, Igors Stepanovs, Edu

Thats more or less the equals in terms of squad place for Arsenal. Doesn't look that brilliant either, does it? Maybe our lads aren't that bad.

good post.. although if you looked at last week's performance you will see that luzhny showed class down the right side.. he picked up henry's blind-pass and then went on to assist wiltord for the goal.. i'd love to see our lads do that these days.. esp the ones people aren't very happy about..

True, it was a classy set up. Probably the first time since his arrival at England Luzhny and class were somehow connected. I'd take Phil over him as reserve full back, thank you veyr much.

Phil would get into a team like the Baggies - feck they took Wallwork didn't they? They're welcome to him, we can get a better squad player, in fact I'd rate Roche and Tierney as his equal as a full back.

Gary would get into a team like Villa - they took Johnsen. If we replaced him with top quality, like Puyol or Coly, then I wouldn't mind.

Blanc is going to retire anyway.

Chadwick is wanted by Everton.

May would hope to go to a first division side, maybe a fairly high up one.

Fortune could go to a number of clubs across Europe, maybe doing a Jordi Cruyff and being the star in a small Spanish team.
