If Keano was given the job until the end of the season how do you think he'd get on with this squad?

How do I think a failed manager at multiple clubs would get on with a squad who have been poor under a manager who was actually successful at multiple clubs?

great question.

He managed two clubs and failed at one of them. Not that it changes the answer to the question posed by OP.

Fletcher; "Shall I put the cones out?"
Keane; "That's your job"

Bump for a few weeks or so while players tried to impress, then a slow slide back down the league as players realise hes short term and stop trying again.

If he brought in a coaching savant and had them lay out the training routines and patterns of play and formations, and then just concentrated on bullying the players into complete obedience or in the case of bluffers, into putting in transfer requests, then I'd be in favour. In terms of anything too close to the technical or indeed tactical, beyond 'move, give your man options...and attack, you cnts' , I'd be more sceptical, much as he obviously possessed a certain ingame intelligence in order to do his job as a player...

We should go for it and give him the job. While we are giving jobs to club legends we should appoint King Eric to the president of football job he wanted us to create…. We can do things other clubs can only dream about!

You'll find out about that old tale that things can always get worse.

What a shite and pointless thread.

Jesus it's been a horrible day, it was supposed to be a light hearted thread not a serious question.

What's up with people why so serious. We all know Roy would be an absolute nightmare, but he'd certainly tell few home truths.

I f nothing else they'll be experts at walking the dog and bagging up dog shit

Would remind people of Gary Neville at Valencia.
