Torres is fecked by injuries every other week, would rather we went for someone like Pato/Higuain/Benzema/Aguero than him.

Sad to say, but Torres has integrity, he won't come to us. Rooney doesn't, he will definitely go to city (if we accept their bid - which part of me thinks we will if the value is high enough).

Still say what you like about Torres hes got more decency in his perma crocked hamstrings than Rooney could ever dream of having, hes stayed loyal to Liverpool for a lot longer than anyone could have imagined fair play to him, Rooney should look at the mess they are in and consider how lucky a cnut he is.

Imagine Rooney in Liverpools situation, hed have jumped shit seasons ago judging by his behaviour, if hes unappy at a lack of ambition and money at a club who finished a point off winning 4 leagues on the trot and who want to make him the highest paid player in the country to boot one can only imagine what hed have felt like at Liverpool these last few years.
I actually have gained a lot of respect for Torres in the last few hours, when put into context and in far far tougher circumstances his actions and loyalty to a club in crisis have been highly commendable.
