Feck off!. He ain't a bad player, but he's no Man Utd player. Do you not think the fact no PL club has brought him says something.
It would depend on the price, but as he troubled plenty of PL defences last year - including ours, if you remember - then I think it might be worth a punt whilst he's still relatively young, if only for the PL, to take pressure off RVN.
You would think that Utd had superior training facilities etc to Derby, which would benefit a player at Christie's stage of development. It's not like we have any strikers coming through the reserves at the moment. And I don't get this Di Canio @ £80k a week scenario at all.
Possibly Derby is not close enough to the equator to warrant a vist from Martin Ferguson.

id rather have christie at 20k a week than DiCanio at 80k a week.
whilst DiCanio is a great entertainer and a scorer of great goals, hes no goalscorer. and he's 34.

Christie was a handful in the PL last year & could blossom at Utd....just the sort of move we should make in normal times...just wonder if we need a more sure bet atm

No thanks again, he just isnt someone thats impressed me terribly, I dont really rate him, he is another player of only average quality and average potential. Verdict:can do better.
