Seriously though, a site of this size isn't cheap to run - there is hardware costs (2 servers at present with further upgrades in the pipeline) and ongoing hosting costs (rack space in a data centre, bandwidth charges, sys admin maintenance etc).
Google ads go a long way to covering these costs and all donations go towards it as well...

i tend to donate if the caf keeps me interested enough to keep me from spending more money elsewhere. i have no problem donating 10-20 quid to the caf once or twice a month if it keeps me occuiped a few nights a week, a couple of pub trips due to boredom at home would be way more expensive than hoping on here for an evening and donating 20 quid every now and then.

i am skint, but i can still afford £5 a month ok. It's a good cause, i like the caf, i spend my money on some dodgy stuff that aint worth it, this seems worth it.
