Im having problems recording through both channels when i record a mix? It only seems to record through one channel and therefore when i play it back you can only hear it from one speaker...
I'm gonna try and break it down as much as I can.
Setup
2x Technics SL1200MK2
Pioneer DJM 800
Serato SL2
Macbook
Audacity (to record)
Ok.
I've got no other issues. The sound output is right and coming out of both speakers ect.
The way I am trying to record is by using an 'Aux RCA cable' connected into the back of the Pioneer in the "REC" slots and into my Mac's headphone jack.
(Left slots for sound output, right slots for recording)
From here i've gone into preferences and changed the headphone port from "Sound Output" to "Sound Input"
Once plugged in i've gone into Audacity preferences and made sure its in "Stereo" and not "Mono"
So technically this should be sorted yes? But when I got to record a tune I can see through Audacity and then hear it afterwards that it is only recording through one channel..
Anyone got any ideas???
(thought by getting some pics/screenshots it would help you help me!)
Cheers in advance.
