what was the point of closing the Messi thread? It's a two year old thread, not a seasonal one, and all that happens is someone will start a new one about Messi anyway

Agreed, it's much better to have all that nonsense in one thread rather than scattering the forum with the same arguments from the same people that have homogenised the thread. It's also a good way of passing time when... Actually no, it's in no way a good way to pass time. Forget I said that.
