I have just come up with a great Business idea for Redcafe

I just got my hands on this book, and is written by this website www.419eater.com. All the content is from their forum pages

Someone posted it on the General a few days ago and I immediately bought it off amazon. Best laugh I have ever had and I mean that.

What about Niall and the mods, short list a few classic threads about United and have them printed in Book Format.

I am sure if you get threads where there is no need for poster background, and they were based on United, or threads will rivallry against Liverpool, City or Arsenal they could be sold to a larger market.


PS I have taken a screen shot of this post and dated it. Any theft of this idea and I will sue.
 
You'll be hard pushed to get anyone to do it Baz, good idea or not.

I know someone who compiled a Lord of the Rings dictionary on a forum, and it's feckin' hilarious. I'm sure it would sell but no-one seems to want to try and get it published.

All you have to do is market it to the Man Utd Market. Surely there are about 10-12 all time great threads.

Is the 1999 CL Thread inrunning still there?
Liverpool 2005 CL Thread as well


All you need to do is go to a publisher and present the idea. Redcafe is in a good postion as they own all the content, it is already written (however you may need to colour it up abit)

Definite sock filer at christmas.

I would have to disagree.

Depends on the way it is marketed. Passionate United fans talking about the club, in a way that other United fans would want.

Also it would be a comfort buy for United Fans, 1 to be seem as part of a grouping and 2 with a good bit of humour would be a nice easy read for all age groups.

It is also an perfect way for some publishers to gain access to Man Utd material without having to play PLC prices.

Sell it for around £6.99, get a right publisher and distribuition company, could be easly translated into different languages and I reckon you could sell over 200,000 next christmas.

Believe me if Redcafe do not do it some other football fan forum will do it.

I was staying away from you TBH.

Nah the Baz is back, I am calling a meeting with Divo and Rams in the morning and giving them a good talking too. The forum is full of pussies and acne filled teenagers.

Serious lack of fun about the place. As senior members Divo and Rams should be wiping some arse.

In a serious note I think it is something the senior members of redcafe (ie the Mods & Niall) should discuss. I think it could be a money maker.

I also think maybe this tread should be deleted as some other forum might take it before youse

As a business man and some contacts with the publishing world I would be willing to help.

It's a stupid idea, I could think of 10 better 'business plans' whilst taking my next crap.

What market would you trying to reach? The only people who would buy the book would be forum members that have been around a long time (Davo, Weaste and the likes)

I would say the majority of the regular posters on the site are students; they will not be interested, as I'm not in buying a fecking book with classic threads. It's bad enough having to watch the senior posters lick Davo's arse on the Internet, let alone buy a fecking book of it.

So to sum up, 200,000 copies sold by next Christmas? You are more deranged than people give you credit for. GB I'm surprised....

Isn't there only one classic thread, the Davo and Pletch slightly homosexual fellow posters love in one? You want to CHARGE people to read that? I felt like I'd lost a good hour of my life I could have spent self harming. Commend the effort to write that thread incidently, monsterous.

Can't believe the senior posters are so naive they think they could have a best selling book based on their ‘funny’ posts on a fecking internet forum :lol: Maybe Noodle, GB, Davo, Spazalini, Phlech, Big_Andy, Shane_Bluck and all the other senior gimps need a bit of a wake up call!!
