i don't mind grinding out 1-1 draws when it's necessary, espcially when it means forlan gets his first goal...but the problem i have with our current form is that this isn't and shouldn't be the toughest part of the season...if we are drawing fulham and villa now what's going to happen when we face newcastle, liverpool and the arse all in a row? i know there are no easy results in the league, and two back to back draws don't mean we're down and out...but i just wish we could bag the points and stop all these fecking injuries...

Utd v Villa games are allways tight and they were so poor last Monday night it was obvious they were going to perform today. Thats the price we pay for being the biggest.
Its only October, Liverpool being clear early suits us imo as they have the pressure now.

.. so don't be pessimistic, it's early days yet. The wheel's wobbling on the Arsenal wagon - only a fortnight ago they were going to go all season unbeaten, and don't worry about the Scousers they aren't good enough (still) and they can't keep grabbing last minute winners. And surely Diego's on a roll now... don't worry, be 'appy! ;)

Dont think SAF is taking liverpool seriously and if you watch them they are lucky!! A late peno vs spurs. A diaou goal vs leeds the lad just tackles mainly and things just seem to be going their way late against chelsea too they are getting a large slice of luck but it could change thats the beauty of it!!!

If they keep being "lucky" for enough games they will win the league. Good teams make their own luck, just as we did in our title winning seasons.
I watched the Arse last night and they were "unlucky" 27 shots on goal, Brad Friedel had an inspired game, I would be writing them off yet either. Still it's only early days, keep yer chin up .

We were piss poor today though. Diego did a great job and he was easily the best player on the pitch. Rio comes second, but everyone else was pretty bad. Veron came in with some improvement, but needs to stop giving the damn ball away!

Well, I certainly don't mind if we occasionally play some bad games. But what is the most worrying thing is that we look like struggling in EVERY league matches. We have played over 10 league matches now but I can't remember in which match have we beaten the opponent convincingly. We must start a winning run asap.
