..Diego has found his confidence and a bit of luck... now he'll be scoring regularly

i just hope that he stays on form (because i can see SAF not buying anyone because forlan has found form) Does anyone think SAF will still buy a striker?

ahhh what a legend... <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Legend? Get real. That's misuse of the term. You don't become a legend by scoring some goals. Give the dude a break, will ya?

Legend is something you become with years of dedication, work, quality and results.

That's like saying Nicky Butt is a legend. Or Phil Neville. George Best was a legend. We have many legends. Forlan isn't a legend. That road is a looong one.

In 10 or 20 yrs time, just before a utd Pool Fa Cup clasht (theyll be racking up div 1 titles by then ;) ) someone will start a thread,,
"December 2002 anyone?"

and a big picture of Dudek laying an egg followed by Diego running to the fans will appear <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

He was great tonight, great movement, well taken goal, set up plenty of chances for others, allways looking for the ball, taking up great positions,, the list goes on.
He was even better than Ruud tonight, hes still 3rd choice but he has definitely a future with us.
Im delighted for him :D

i do think the private is a bit bitter towards us at the moment... why on earth would you want the name private pee wee? i don't think i'd advertise that name if i ever wanted a date with a lady.. but then again being a scouser he'd have to steal one.. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

I agree that Diego's goals were scored with the help of luck. But I think he still young and his good day will be still more to come. I hope that he can be more consistent as Solskjaer in the front by keeping more hardworks in finishing which we already saw some good results from him.

what i like is that diego is so different to Ruud, but they are beginning tio show signs of forming a good understanding,m they are both quick thinkers though with an eye for an opening and arent afraid to shoot. If Ruud can lead the line and have Diego buzzing round him creating space and pulling people off (!) our forward line will be more dynamic.
i am sooo kin pleased for this lahd :D

The thing with luck is you most often make your own by being in the right place at the right time and with Diegos work rate he is going to be there when the chances occur.

"If you'd given me the choice of beating four men and smashing in a goal from 30 yards against Liverpool, or going to bed with Miss World, it would have to be a difficult choice. Luckily I had both. It's just that you do only one of those things in front of 50,000 people." - George Best

He will be our super-sub for years to come alternating on the first team as and when needed.
