Hypothetical: If Bruno leaves this summer, who would you say had a better United career between him and Pogba?

Bruno with question. He ran and created more in a match then pogba did in a year. What an unbelievable brilliant buy he is. I shudder to think what we'd be like without him. The only player with any vision for a forward pass.

To help you with your thread surely you mean who was the more naturally gifted player or maybe even at a stretch had the higher peaks?

I’m in the Bruno doesn’t get into proper top teams bracket of fans but his United career has been a massive success and Pogbas was lukewarm at best

Though I’d argue in terms of natural gifts Pogba was better and had the higher ceiling. Never achieved it

Obviously Bruno.

Unless you just mean who had the better trophy haul in which case I guess winning the Europa league gives Pogba the edge.

Well pogba won more but why even speak this into existence?

Theres a thread here that is still active that is titled that “we will never win the league with Bruno” or something like that.

With Bruno in the team we have not done anything we didnt do with Pogba, I am surprised by the reactions..
Did Bruno shag your wife ? That’s the only explanation for this thread to be honest.

Unlike 90% of the Caf, I am not a huge fan of Bruno. I dont think he has done anything for us that allows him the cult status he has. People are laughing as if im comparing Rooney and Martial.

That doesnt mean I want Pogba back by the way. I just look at the time he spent here in a different way to most people.

One of those moments where you have an urge to create a thread and come up with the worst possible thread topic.

given you have such an outlier point of view on bruno, perhaps best just to keep it to the bruno thread(s) rather than pointlessly showcase your outlier point of view to a majority of people who are clearly going to disagree with you?

Bruno easily.

But Pogba's 1st 3 seasons were very good and I do think he had expectations that were impossible to fill.

Also as far as performances, I actually think this season is Bruno's best, but his productivity is down because of our attackers wasting his passes and him scoring less.

Have we had a signing (that's played more than 1 season) who's been better than Bruno since SAF left? I can't think of anyone
I don't think so. Some may be keen to argue Shaw's case but I think his wild lack of consistency over the years rules him out, as good as his best is.

I didnt showcase anything originally, I asked a simple question. I wanted to see if anyone would answer it logically but no its the Cafe, I should have known better.

It's not quite a logical question.
And yes. You should have known better

Pogba clearly has the better raw talent and ability, especially as an orthodox central midfielder.

But Bruno has the necessary attitude, respect, love, admiration, and connection with the club and fans that Pogba never really had. Plus, Bruno has the ability, application, output, and flash to match his attitude. For Pogba, it happened in spurts, but Bruno has been committed to Manchester United Football Club and respected everything about the club and fans since day one. He's defended the club, he's been honest about the play/performances on the pitch. To that, he's delivered the goals and assists and carried the attacking burden every year now. And he's never hid from the spotlight, good or bad during his United tenure.

Pogba won 2 trophies (Europa League and League Cup), with Bruno winning one (League Cup) thus far.

But the better United career is Bruno. Both players were given the opportunity to really be the focal point of the team, some ways Pogba was able to defer to Zlatan for 1.5 seasons while Bruno was able to defer to himself or Cavani.

You don't have to be a fan of a player, but you're also not appreciating him for what he contributes and stands for as it pertains to Manchester United Football Club.
