Afternoon

I'm off travelling around Ireland next month, and fancied getting to a hurling match in while I'm in Kilkenny. I reckon I'm going to be around there for the match against Antrim.

Anyone know how you go about getting tickets for individual matches?

Check out www.gaa.ie and take it from there. They should link you the the Kilkenny ticket office.

more of a mis-match than a match that one

The gallant Antrim beat the Cats in the Walsh Cup a few weeks back. But yeah they should get a hiding.

Nice one, cheers guys. So I should get in with the home crowd if I want to be celebrating eh?

you can get pay in at the gate, league games dont sell out.

There wont be much celebrating to be done, Kilkenny should easily beat them and even if they dont you'd be hard pushed to find an antrim man thats not playing. Its about a 400mile round trip.

Aah yes, the old Caretake Janitorial Championship

Ye, pay at the gate!....... This is a league match, which is the secondary GAA competition to the Championship.....so attendances are never near capacity. Normally, Kilkenny would hammer Antrim, (they will probably still win) but will be closer than many think!... Antrim have improved massively this year & already have 2 good games under their belts!...enjoy!

Well, Antrim took a pasting, was good to watch all the same though. Close up to till half time, then it was all Kilkenny in the second half.

do you mean curling?

curling really cracks me up I watched the world championship between germany and canada last year it was fairly entertaining
