For some reason United keeps being linked with him...

Manchester United will meet with Humberto Suazo's agent with a view to signing the striker.
Italian sports website Itasports claims discussions between United and the Chilean striker's representatives are in an advanced stage.
The 29-year-old forward currently plays his football for Monterrey in the Mexican league but could follow Javier Hernandez to Old Trafford if his £10m fee is met.Talks have reportedly taken place over the telephone between the two parties but a face-to-face meeting is now required to see if a deal can be reached in time for the January transfer window.

Out of nowhere, this guy gets linked to us? Journalists and media today are so jobless.

He's definitely not good enough for us, but on his day he is an entertaining player for a smaller, uefa cup sort of side. He was really disappointing at the world cup after impressing me a lot at Zaragoza.

Well he only played a game and a half, he was just coming back from injury wasn't he? And 90 mins of that was against Brazil too. Top scorer in CONMEBOL WC qualification, I think. Did you see him much while he was at Zaragoza?

5 or 6 matches in the second half of the season when Zaragoza signed a whole new team of players yeah. He did well and so did Adrian Colunga

Interesting. I've only really seen him play with Monterrey in Mexico, and he's looked pretty good for them, but it's hard to know how well that translates. I'd guess the stories have probably just come about because his scoring record in Mexico so far this season is looking similar to Hernandez's last season. Would be extremely surprised if there was any truth to this rumour though.

First Sanchez then Isla and now Suazo? I guess someone thinks we are trying to transplant the Chilean national team to Old Trafford.

I enjoyed referring to him as "Swazzock" at the World Cup. On that basis alone, I say we should definately buy him.

Ummmm, who?

Us signing a 29 yo unknown from Mexico? Seems a tad unlikely no?

I can see the logic behind this. United have a Mexican striker in from, so they must be after another one.

He is a quality striker for a league like the mexican, not a bigger one though, in which he could be as far as useful for a mid-table club.

He is of that Colo Colo team that included Alexis Sanchez and Matias Fernandez.

He's from Chile not from Mexico and he's not an unknown in any way.
