Hugh Laurie from House

He's not Hugh Laurie from fecking House. He's Hugh Laurie from Fry & Laurie, Black Adder, Jeeves & Wooster, and other stuff.

He plays the guitar/drums/piano on some episodes of House.

What's House?

Laurie lives in one!

Hugh Laurie from the American show House MD, where he has gathered the most acclamation, most Emmys and the most cash out of any shows, including the ones in the UK.

It felt good saying that :smirk:

Yes the fact he got the most Emmys from his American show over his British shows really proves something. Great point there.

Whenever I think Hugh Laurie, I immediately think of House, to be fair. This isn't to say that's all he is, but House is fecking good and he plays a genuinely brilliant role.

I haven't watched a single episode of House. I just thought that would be the most notable role alot of posters would know him from at this point in time. A Bit of Fry and Laurie is classic genius comedy, and when watched even now still has the cutting edge against the best of what you see on your screens today.

Well, he is Hugh Laurie from House. He's been in other things, sure, but I suspect a lot of non-Brits will know him better from House than anything else (and some of the younger Brits, too).

Blackadder >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> house, probably more than that actually

You should watch House at some time, it is absolutely brilliant

I know Hugh Laurie from House, but then when I accidentally stumble into Blackadder, I gained a whole new respect for him. He's a fecking comedy genius. I get used to seeing him played this super intelligent, almost never wrong guy in House. To see him played a complete idiot in Blackadder is completely refreshing.

here's some of sketch from Fry & Laurie

I understand that Hugh Laurie is known exclusively for House to almost all Americans, but this is a British forum, for a British football team...why on fecking earth did it have to be Hugh Laurie from House?...We all know who he is here!!.....Dammit! Blackadder!!!Jeeves & Wooster!!! Stephen Fry!!!!....We know!!! arrrrggghhhhhhh God dammit!!

His Prince Regent role is my personal favourite.

Prince George: Tally ho, my fine, saucy young trollop. Your luck's in. Trip along here with all your cash and some naughty night attire, and you'll be staring at my bedroom ceiling from now till Christmas, you lucky tart. Yours with the deepest respect etc. Signed George. PS Woof, woof!

Blackadder: Ah, yes your highness...if I may change one small aspect?

Prince George: What?

Blackadder: The words?

So brilliantly written, shame the first series was shite.

Actually, it's owned by a Paddy, and hosted on an American server. :p

But I have to say, I knew exactly what was coming when I saw 'Hugh Laurie from House' in the title. Whoops.
