Needs a thread. He's awesome.
Heh. You jest but I reckon the backlash is already starting. Nothing we hate more in Ireland than some cnut who has the nerve to be succesful. He is so 2013
Pfft his whole first album was great! One hit wonder.
Lots of one hit wonderers have done other good stuff. I'm just pointing out what his legacy probably will be among the mainstream media.Pfft his whole first album was great!
I guess. I'm glad for that kind of thing though, means I can get tickets easier and they don't get over-saturated.Lots of one hit wonderers have done other good stuff. I'm just pointing out what his legacy probably will be among the mainstream media.
Clearly not.One hit wonder.
Four years since the first album is some gap though.Well received by music critics, Hozier's album was also commercially successful, reaching top ten positions in Ireland, UK, the United States, Canada, Australia, Denmark and Greece.
Not an album, it's an EPNew album Nina Cried Power out on Sept 5th. Can't wait, got tickets to see him in a couple of weeks.
Oh really. Damn. Still new music though. Not an album, it's an EP
Was in the same studio he recorded it in, during the same time period...Oh really. Damn. Still new music though.
If you like Shrike, give David Keenan a listen. Very similar sound.EP is out. Shrike is gorgeous
I like a couple of them but haven't given it a proper good listen yet.EP was fecking unreal. Album is a bit disappointing on first listen
Gonna give it a few more listens. Feel like the EP was so good that the album was always gonna be disappointing in comparison.I like a couple of them but haven't given it a proper good listen yet.
He's very good liveMy friend Sarah played violin on the new album and has some writing credits from what I can gather. Her boyfriend Rory is Hoziers drummer and played on both albums and has toured the world with him. Nice gig for a few Dublin lads : )
