In answer to the topic heading - I suggest that someone lays in wait for him outside the Bernabeu with a sawn off shotgun.
I dont think that Barça want to sell him, and even if they did I wouldn't be particularly thrilled by the prospect. That said, many Barça supporters are still under the dillusion that they are going to sign RVN. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Kluivert has been terrible since Euro 2000. The main reason from what I've seen since then, is he's trying to change his style. He had been throughout his career been utilised mostly as a target man due to his physique. But he looks to have his heart set on being the "hole" player.
He does okay playing behind the front man in the International games I've seen him play, be it with Makaay or Ruud, but at Barca, he looks simply out of his depth.
He does have a nice cushioned touch which makes him look real elegant for a big man and he also has some neat touches in and around the box. But what he lacks most for this role is the vision.
The vision in seeing a pass. He does not have the creative instincts of a Cantona, a Bergkamp or a Totti..
I don't really know if he'll be a sucess or not if he ever comes to OT, but if he is gonna cost in the region of 7-10 million pounds, then its worth a gamble. Form is temporary. Class is permanent.

kluivert is targetman/hole player that would suit ruud and they are best mates.Ive seen totti play and he is well overrated,has bad attitude and is a cheating diver a la jeffers,pires and that clown heskey.
Well I've heard too many people (including ex United players) say that Kluivert is unreliable - has a habit of going missing for big matches, and isn't a team player.

The question really should be why do we want Kluivert? Rather have Makaay or Makelele before Kluivert. Hell I would rather have Nihat ahead of Kluivert. Pretty much anybody, within reason.
