I'd rather we keep him and get a manager who can use him properly. I have to say when it came out that SAF was leaving i was obviously upset, but quietly hoping we'd see the beginning of a new, modern style that allowed us to get the best from players like him, but alas it didn't happen.

Mata was chelsea's player of the year 2 seasons in a row and one of PL's best players. He wasnt wanted by Mourinho.
Kagawa was a top player at Dortmund that we got on the cheap because a) his contract situation b) he wanted to come to us.
He then had a decent-good 1st season under SAF and is clearly not fancied by the current manager. He doesnt fit our system but is clearly a quality player who'd excel in the right setup.
