indians are on this forum??

We just won probabily our greatest victory since the world cup in 83... truly an amazing achievement considering we hadnt won a single test there let alone a whole series.. And winning the test and one day series made this really special... and the best part was that everyone performed at some point or the other... dravids 270, sachins 194,sehwags 309,yuvrajs century, ganguly and laxman making 70 odd each.... and more than that the performances of our bowlers really gave us the cutting edge... since our batsmen were expected to do well.. but to see balaji and pathan use the swing so well was really heartening.... Seriously was a historic day... to be cherished forever... this indian team has something special about it...the spirit it has.. i believe can take it all the way to the top.. ATM were pretty close to it... but hats off to the pakitanis on making this series a possible one... and the hospitality has been incredible.... resulting in a trouble free tour that has brought people from both countries closer and proveded some of the best cricket seen for a long time.........

Good win, but have to say that the standard of opposition was appalling. The fielding, dropped catches, poor bowling, bitching .. to sum it up, a totally un-professional attitute from the pakistanis.

thats it?...i thought there were more indians on here...

they were poor... but we crossed a big hurdle in winning a series away from home which has probabily had more to do with the mind than ability.... but id give more credit to our players... shoaib and sami may not have had the disciplin... but still to play them with such ease in their own country was an awesome achievement... and that too when they prepared green top pitches..

And i dont think were all that far behind the aussies...give this team a year or two... players like pathan and balaji have come a long way since the aussie tour... and on that tour our bowling was the real problem... add to that zaheer khan and harbhajan singh.....not bad..

And how many of you are second or third generation who should perhaps considering assimilation into your adopted home by taking an interest in the fortunes of it's cricket team?

;)

In England unless your skin colour is black or white they aren't gonna consider you English.

I see our little Indian clique have opened a little corner shop...oops I mean 'thread' in the Other Sports Forum too! ;)

Dont think they are anti-indian... :annoyed: ...anyway

Thats why sport rocks, anyone who supports a particular team are generally United no matter what race/nationality/skin colour/age/sex, a good break from dealing with all that bullshit :boring:

I'm indian. From Malaysia. Never liked cricket although I do follow India's fortunes in hockey occasionally.
