How many players outside of the super 6 would be an upgrade on the players in our current starting 11/squad?

Please….it’s just not that simple. Its the polar opposite playing in a side where your season is about not going down or mid table mediocrity than the pressure that comes with this shirt. There’s been enough historical and current players that’s proof of that!!

Different player now though isn’t he, been pretty regular for Palace and can’t shag Moyes’ Daughter this time round.
 
Raphinha would probably be our best winger.

Neves, Rice, Bissouma or Tielemans would improve our midfield considerably.

And don't get me started on the CB posiiton - Coady and Tarkowski in place of Maguire would probably mean we concede less comical goals.
 
In theory plenty since that's where top 6 teams generally find their future players.

I would definitely welcome Alying and Philips from Leeds United to Arsenal. They are fighters.
 
I would say 6 players. 5 players if we exclude Fofana since Fofana has been injured the whole season.

Sanchez over DDG (He's above DDG in Spain National team pecking order), this is non-debatable.
 
Would argue even though Sancho is on form, the season you'd have to take Bowen and Sant-Maxim over him, even maybe Zaha.

Realistically I think you could replace everyone barring De Gea, Varane Ronaldo, and Ronaldo only because I don't think there is an any more mobile replacement with goalscoring consistency outside the top 6.
 
Fofana, Tielsmans, NDidi, Ricardo, Bissouma, Lamptey, Trossard, Livaramento, Ward-Prowse, Salisu, Conor Gallagher, Olise, Tyrick mitchell, Trippier, Saint Maxim, Jonjo SHelvey, Raphina, Kalvin Phillips, Calvert Lewin, Anthony Gordon, Allan, Seamus COleman, Ben Godfrey....all are arguably better options than we have. Fact some of them are even mentioned shows just how poor we are at the moment.

Fofana, Bissouma, Lamptey, Livaramento, Raphina, Anthony Gordon and Calvert Lewin are all viable options for us thi ssumemr though for me in terms of what we need. Fofana, Livaramento and Gordon I all think would be good signings actually
 
Looks like a team that would finish about 8th or 9th. The reality is not everyone outside the big teams is as good as is made out. They're the best of an average bunch, quite often. Doesn't mean they'd all be superb for us. Some might, some would flatter to deceive.

There's a completely different standard applied to some of these players. If their team does alright everyone is falling over themselves to praise them. If they were struggling to come 4th with us they certainly wouldn't be getting looked at with the same rose tinted spectacles. Same reason many players come to Utd and then end up no way near as useful as thought.

Guehi, Olise, Gallagher, Eze and Zaha would all be useful additions to our squad and that's just from Crystal Palace
 
Sancho and Varane would be the only players starting.
if you want to build a team based on collective effort, then Bruno and Ronaldo would be on the bench.
De Gea would not even start as he contributes next to nothing if we’re playing a high line and better collectively. He would not be required to save us game after game.
