How many DVD's do you own???

I don't know if this has been done before so I'll ask just out of curiosity: how many DVD's do you own?

Personally, right now I've got 576 with another shipment expected to arrive sometime next week (about 12). I am however, not very pleased that I haven't seen about half of them although I intend to but it's been difficult lately with me being busy and all, and with my sudden infatuation with tv shows.
 
i threw away a box full of dvd's but now i have 11
 
I own a few, maybe 50+, not that many really

I never understand those people that buy every film they find half decent.

If it's shit, I watch it once

If it's great, I still rarely watch it more than once

Very few films I wanna watch over and over again, regardless of how good they are

About 70 original movies on DVD.

Pirated about 20. Some of them are very shite copies... I've started to save money on originals from 2005.

I buy only a good ones or true classics, but when it comes to Sci Fi, I sometimes buy even the shit ones, too... :lol:
 
dont really know never owned a orginal dvd... pirated ones are cheap here in india... and the whole dvd phenomenon is yet to make any kind of impact!!
 
To a certain extent, I agree with people who download DVDRip's. It's cheaper and some of them are in great quality that barely differs from DVD quality. And you can burn them to CD's and watch them on TV anytime you'd want to.

I've taken that route a few times lately with some movies that I had difficulty to get my hands to. Torrent is surely one great achievement of human kind.
 
I have lots.. I have no definitive idea of exactly how many. But I also have several hundred VHS tapes as well, which I am slowly in the process of burning onto DVD so my collection is growing all the time.

I went on an expensive crusade whilst at Uni to get a copy of all the movies that were on the BBFC's video nasty list, and while I was at it, picked up a load of dross as well..
 
I've got a Divx player. And around 100 Dvds with on average, 5 movies on each.

A friend of mine though, has got about 2000 original dvds.
 
I would estimate around 100 or maybe a bit more, but that's just films. I have seasons of TV shows on DVD, plus Man Utd DVD's and a few concerts on DVD's too :D

Perhaps about 50...
 
About 150 videos with loads of box sets.

About 200 DVD's.

About 150 downloaded from the net on hard drive.

That's outrageous, it's the same here but in dollars. I have probably 600-650 movies, and like 20 seasons worth of shows (Nip/Tuck, Rome, The Sopranos, The Wire
