Since you have returned and by all means recovered from that shock of losing to the saints, what do you think of lfc? Opinions on the team, changes to be made if any, possible improvements, who's crap (no help needed here) and who's not (the list gets smaller with every game ;) )

We're not playing very well at the moment...

If I could have one "change" I'd have GH back.

Our midfield is playing poorly and thus creating extra work for the defense...

No ones suddenly crap just because we're in a rut, a few are off form tho. e.g. Murphy

So basically you are saying that big nose isn't doing a very good job? Sort of contradictory to what you and many other scousers said about him on this forum a month or so back.

And do you think your midfield should be keeping the same players from now onwards?

according to your good friend softlad, smicer's been tearing apart defences with those killer passes of his, way better than beckham - I'm sure you must have missed them of late ;)

I'm not saying Thommo's not doing a good job. I think he's doing well considering all thats happened and the speed by which he found himself in an unfamiliar position. Things started well under him and now we are in a bit of a rut which we could do with our manager's aid to end. I don't think anyone would argue that Thommo possesses the abilities of GH who is one of the top manager's around.

Hamann and Gerrard pick themselves in midfield. The problem with the likes of Berger/Smicer/Murphy is that they are inconsistent. They have all played well at stages during the season and poorly during other.

I don't think Smicer's as good as Beckham, but then Beckham hasn't been brillant himself of late has he?

Gerrard has not been playing well of late
As b/s/m, they were made to look like muppets against the giants of West Ham and Southampton just to quote a couple of examples.
And yet I hear from scousers that they are world class

Which world would that be btw?

Beckham has not been playing his usual game so he was dropped and rightly so. In fact that goes for any player at OT.

Don't see that at anfield though.

It's the gipper theory. Your manager has a heart attack and is in hospital so Liverpool plays on emotion. Eventually, this wears off. Your season is lost!

GH stupidly sold Fowler and now brings in Anelka to replace him. Both are complainers, although Fowler rightly complained about being on the subs bench when Heskey continually played in his place. Anelka, on the other hand, complains even when he plays. It's nowonder Leeds have over-taken you since Fowler's move.

Finally, there is a GOD! He refuses to let a boring team lift the PL Championship. So Leeds can say bye bye as well.
