Clean sheets against 2 of Europes best teams in the last 2 matches...

Its been a long time coming(since Bruce and Pally) but at last we have a back 4 we can rely on...

I think now this team cud potentially be United's greatest...

The difference between this team and the treble is that now we have Van the man... without doubt the BEST striker in the world...
 
Bit scary how many good defenders we have now.

We have a better defense today that Bruce-Pallister-Parker-Irwin made up in my opinion.

Because I think today's defense combines sound defending abilities with more pace than the Parker-Bruce-Pallister-Irwin combination, while at the same time maintaining the aerial ability. Quite awesome.

Brown - rightback, centreback
P Neville - leftback, rightback, centreback

not to mention O'shea and phil can play in midfield some more.

mancfrommanc... I disagree slightly... generally they've looked solid... no defence is gonna stop conceding chances against top teams... however they've been at a minimum... watching United over the last 2 years has seen sometimes the opposition creating chance after chance... hasn't happened with this back 4...yet!!

With Brown, Silvestre, Ferdinand, Gary and O'shea at the back, we are saved and the more clean sheet will come. We saw them stopped Arsenal to score than followed by Deportivo. Just ask Henry and Makaay....how's united defence quality? We are not sacky anymore...after Man City match.
