How good is Davydenko?

He battered Nadal yesterday, although the Spaniard didn't really show up.

He's obviously up there, but for me third place goes to Djokovich who may also challenge for 1st or 2nd.

How good is this guy then? Was that performance yesterday a one off?

he is well up there alright, probably top 4 or 5 with Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Roddick.

Never proven that he fixed, but there was a strong wiff of it. some big last minute gambles that he would lose a game, for a random match in a random tournament. A bit strange.

He's so high in his ranking simply because of the amount of tournament he plays. He is consistent, but on sheer ability alone, he wouldn't be so high. Possibly No. 5-10.
