HOW DO YOU ATTACH IMAGES/PICTURES TO YOUR POST ?

I am fairly new at this, so I would be grateful
if someone could explain (simply) how you add
pictures to your messages. Thanks.

When you post there's a set of Instant UBB Code buttons. Use this one:

You need to paste the pictures URL into the box kf has indicated.

Right-click on an image, go to properties, get the url and THEN put it in the image box.
