He has to learn how to create space for himself, by faking, dribling, 1-2 pases, and so on.
Only expect him to perform in every 10 th game <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
i think veron always played good in champions league, because the opponents arent from english club, but in english premier, veron seems to be deactive
Try to flog him to the highest bidder!
We get the most from Veron by playing him in Europe, but benching him in the PL.

I think it may not be very practical. Firstly he is the second highest wage player in our squad, so the management just won't allow Fergie to use him only in a dozen CL matches in a year. Secondly, What should we put Veron when the CL is in winter break? He is not snake, so he can't simply go to sleep during this period.

He should be used in rotation same as everyone else then. GOod point about the break - I'd forgotten that.
How about everyone gets off his back and give the poor bastard a chance! So he wasnt impressive in his first year, maybe he will get better in time, he will adapt to the English game in time and when he does he will be devastating, besides everyone is happy to give Foraln as long as it takes!

So you also agree Veron wasn't impressive in the first year? Then why an unimpressive player can continue to occupy a starting spot? The situation now is, he is ineffective for 90% of league matches, yet he started in 90% of the leauge matches, which is the biggest problem. If Veron is benched like Forlan (and everyone else) do when they don't play well, then we don't mind to give more time to him at all.
Let him take the left corner while Beckham taking the right and let him take the long or futher range free kicks. Positioning him behind scholes, giggs, and beckham because his passes is useful to feed the midfielders more than strikers in PL. In the meantime he should improve his left foot abilities to play faster. Wonder why I had always saw his other teammates running so fast chasing a ball and never saw Veron do that. He also need to gives full strengths when tackle and not afraid to get hurt.
let him play in his "beloved" blue strip...
