I still can`t make up my mind about Fab. I think the man has great character, loads of energy, takes risks (which can be great sometimes) and on potential is the best goalkeeper in the world.

However, it is said that he likes the high life too much, travels away from Manchester too much (although as one poster informed me a family member of his was sick and he was travelling to France to be with her/him)and is not focused enough.

I don`t know about those things. Does anyone care to enlighten me?

Yes Fab goes back to France as much as poss but you'll find Ruud also goes home as much as poss too(admittedly Ruud doesnt go to clubs etc whilst in Eindhoven ).
Fab smokes too a big nono but he does his own thing as was agreed with Fergie when he arrived here.
Fab isnt a child and wont be treated like one, thats the bottom line.

I dont think his lifestyle affects his bizarre approach to keeping, and so SAf turns a blind eye.

I can't make my mind up either.

Sometimes, I'll stick up for Fab till the end. He's such a character, flamboyant, inspirational etc. And, he can be the best keeper in the world on his day.

But, these mistakes keep happening. And it isn't good for the team.

I don't think its his lifestyle, as that is just part of the package that is Fab.

All that matters is whether he keeps goal well for us. I think he does ok but he is overrated - I don't think he belongs in a best keepers in the world category if only because he isn't commanding, isn't big enough and therefore doesn't have sufficient presence to deserve that accolade.

His height was his downfall on Saturday. That cross-goal was pathetic.

At times a brilliant shot stopper but generally I don't think he's got all the attributes that one associates with a great keeper. I think we were thoroughly spoilt by his predecessor who has obviously been a hard act to follow.

o'shea takes one in the chops for his keeper and fab can't be bothered to do his job - sorry that one 5-7 seconds is a great shot of fab's career at MU! he's put us in it more than he's pulled us out!
