How about another Irish...

player for United eh?

like a certain Keane...not Keano but rather his namesake currently sitting on the dirties bench.
Recently i've been championing the purchase of Damien Duff and i've been wondering...if we do get Duff....wouldnt it be good that we got his Irish international strike partner as well...they've been playing well together for ireland.
We need a no. 9...would Robbie Keane cut it?
What do you guys think of him?
How much would he cost?
Would the dirties sell him?

I'd certainly love Duff to be at OT cos' he'll add so much more penetration to our attack...so whaddya guys say...get Robbie or not?

colin healy is the nearest thing i,ve seen to replacing keane when he retires.he is looking for a contract with celtic and maybe fergie should think of snapping him up.

FErie once said that Robbie Keane's not good enough for United's reserves. He threatened to bare his bottom to the directors box if he ever scores over 20 goals in the Premiership.
I think he's not going to back down from something like that of he won't back down about Veron.

apparently sean thornton from drogheda (just moved to sunderland from tranmere) is keane-like in nature, if not yet skill and mastery of the midfield. one to watch anyway, highly rated by reid's scouts anyway.

just telling it as it is,
Fergie was interested in Keane when he was with wolves but quite rightly refused to even discuss 8 million,
less than one million was what he and most ppl agreed was fair after ½ a season in div 1.
