THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG!!! BUT NO-ONE BELIEVES ME!

I'll put a copy of the full interview on this site on Sunday. (need some time to translate the story which will be at every PSV-supporters home at Saturday)

its the same thing out of that shite psv interview

'United are keen to offer the Dutchman a job for life'

He'll go back, but not that soon. He'll be about 28 then - it'd be madness to go to a smaller league when he's at his peak period. I reckon he'll return whens he about 32.

Why on earth Ruud would want to leave the greatest club in the world to return to ordinary old PSV beats me. Give him what he wants when the time comes including the captaincy if necessary ! If he keeps going the way he has so far he will be United's greatest ever striker, ahead of legends like Law and Taylor. I don't think he'll be allowed to leave !

You can't force him to stay when he doesn't sign a new contract...

So that you can jingle your keys at him? I think that is a good reason for him to stay at United!

'kin cheesemunchers

Why was your game at Utrecht called off tonight?

It's not exactly cause for panic. There's a few years before his contract finishes and we all know how much things can change in a month let alone a year.

So we'll just have to convince him to stay then.

Ole was supposed to go back to Molde after a few years. He's still here.

Keano wanted to play for Celtic. He's still here.

Give the players loyalty and they will give it in return.

So letst turn Ruud's heart RED!! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

ask him again at the end of the season, or shortly prior, when we win some trophies, one, two or maybe three, he will tell you he will sign any contract placed before him.

in fact, i think i just read about he was given a raise in renumeration to be on par with Scholes and the like. That would make him a happy striker!

and i think he is already a red, No?!!

besides, i wouldnt put much weight on such reporting, which can be misquoted, bearing in mind it's the PSV magazine who he gave the interview!! That can be just wishful thinking of the club, interpreting something what they want to hear.

I read about Veron rebutting those rumour about him wanting to go back to italy, citing that was absolutely nonsense and suggested that it's Lazio who is spreading the rumour in a bid to get him back!!!

The game against U-U-Utreg has already been played two weeks ago. Originally the weekend was left free for PSV, because of the heavy European schedule... So now it wasn't a problem to place the game a few weeks forward.
BTW, we won, 3-1 with 2 goals within the first 5 minutes and a great Kezman.

PSVinside is a very believable magazine. It also gives a view into the private lives of our players and our coach writes a complete column in it each month.

I think the story will be a bit blown up in English newspapers, coz I don't think Ruud will return before World Cup 2006.
DON'T WORRY! In a few years we'll exchange Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for Ruud and you'll be very happy again!

"I want to return to PSV in 2005 to be captain and go for European prizes."

Sounds like a nice thing to say to your old club when asked in an interview. And I'm sure Ruud is honest about wanting to end his career at PSV. Better to end your career at the smaller club that brought you on stage, and to play every week ..rather than wasting the end of your career on the bench at a big club like Man Utd. Problem is, Ruud himself can't possibly predict when "the end of his career is near" or "when his play will decline because of age". Can't see Ruud leave Man Utd before 2010 to be honest ;)
