would be very grateful if someone could show me some good 32" teles that are good reliability and good picture ofcourse... would look myself but i have no idea what to look for -- cheers

Well Liam, I've been asking questions lately, and this is what I found so far: up to 32" buy LCD, bigger than that plasma, and definitely buy Full HD, especially if you have a console. Also, plasmas are better for gaming purposes, that's why I decided to buy one, but LCDs consume less power, and have less problems. So, you have to see what you want, as for particular manufacturers and models, you'll have to wait for Weaste on that one. :D

nice one thanks :) - would love a masssssive tele.. but money is an issue... only got a 22 inch tele in my room atm but as this tele will be going in the living room would like a bigger one -- and yeh would be for gaming and just normal tv really and dvd --- and bluray when i actually get round to watch one... thanksss

Well, I have no idea what are the prices in England, the one I'm buying (here in Croatia) is about 580£, Weaste will probably be able to find you something, you can check the link he put in my thread.

I was going to put out this request too.

All the talk between Weate and Elvis about Final Fantasy has made me want a ps3 and new tv.

So if i can ask a similar question - PS3, TV, probably around 2-3 metres away, so not far away.

Budget, i haven't given much thought too - but i'd guess 300-500 depending on Weaste's recommendation, given he seems to know more about this than anyone i've ever met.

Cheers

Get an LED if you can afford it - they are pretty much all over a grand though. I got one for my new house last november and its immense - fantastic resolution and image quality.

Cheers Weaste

It's just the distance, the eye can't see the individual pixels, and the smaller the TV the harder it becomes - this is down to the human eye. It's not a problem with say a 22" monitor, as you are sat at max only 2 foot away.

You can see this effect with say a Sopcast stream. Sit close to the monitor and it looks a blocky mess. Stand 20ft away and it looks like broadcast TV quality.
