Went to the fat duck for my 30th it was the tits.
Love the tv programs he does, he is a genius, albeit a twisted genius
indeed, he is just on another level to any other chef in terms of creation and imagination. i dont know how he comes up with all this stuff
Did you have the Taster Menu JP? How was the snail porridge?
I was looking at it yesterday, it said to allow four hours for the menu and was £160 a head. I want to try it, but not sure about some of it! It's got to be a cop out to go there and just have a steak though surely?!
Yes and Tasty, one of the best dishes on the menu, going back a second time is the only time you should not have the taster menu. Even then there are always tweaks to the menu, so the taster menu will be different.
It did take about 4 hours, only just made it back in to London before the countryside trains shut down
When I looked at the menu for the Fat Duck some of it actually made me feel physically sick at the thought of eating it.
