This morning I have seen some magical touch of football again from a certain player whom I didn't even take note before ..

He tortured the opponent's defence, he split the defence with a flick or a soft touch of the ball, and he curle freekicks as well .. It's just a pleasant to watch ... I don't thnk I have watched that for a long while now .. not of that frequencies in a single game ..

But I still don't know him at all - only may be some Swiz here can give some advice .. Hakan Yakin - does he play week in week out like this morning when he basically tear the Scoucers up ? .. I knew him before but never take note much . ...He isn't the biggest guy phycially nor that could hold the ball up alone like Eric, but he certainly shows Eric's skill in other area ... the flick etc .. The 2nd Basle goal was just a masterpc. IMO ..
 
He was playing against shite tonight. Lets see what he is like against a classier outfit.
 
I don't think it is just one game where he has played well. I thought he did well at Anfield and when Switzerland played Rep of Ireland. And although I've only seen highlights of his other games for Basle in the CL, I thought he had been consistently good.

Reminds me of Recoba, except without the attitude.
 
That's why I am asking for opinion here ... I didn't jump into conclusion 'cos I know it very well that "one good game doesn't means good" stuff ... I know ppl here will start to have a lot others to say that's why I am asking for some more "expert" opinion ... ;) Those who might have watched him closer week in week out ... Swiss league might not be the best out there but at least we will know a bit better ...
 
Definitely worth keeping an eye on this type of player - and sometimes it's good to gamble on unknowns. If they do turn out to be a real stars, their price will rocket.
 
He was handy when the Swiss beat us in Landsdowne last month but I dont think he would be a UTD regular.
