Why did the Haitian shoot Bennett?
Why wasn't removing his memory enough?

Part of Bennett plans to make it looks like he wasn't in on it. So it will look like the Haitian turned on him, shot him and then erased his memory.

No, Haitan was trying to kill him but couldn't and erases his memory before shooting him.So the Haitian had to make it look like he wasn't trying to kill Bennett, but trying to disable him to remove his memory?
Because if the plan was to make it look like the Haitian tried to kill him, that has major flaws.

I honestly haven't seen anything worse than that nonsense on TV.And thats saying a lot in the era of Desperate Housewives and effing OC.Pathetic acting, pathetic storyline and useless characters.
No, that doesn't work!
How do you explain that he was able to get close enough to remove his memory, but not be able to kill him.
And what would be the point of erasing his memory if he was going to kill him?!
I just looked at the index, and couldn't remember starting a topic called Herpes.![]()
Killed him, hurt him in order to run away from Bennett. You take your pic. More like hurt him though as Bennet did specify specifically where to shoot him so that he won't bleed to death.
You see my point....most of you claimed that he tried to kill Bennett, and he didn't.
You're all in the dark as much as me, and just making up answers so that you look intelligent.

He wanted it to look like the Haitian had tried to kill him.
The memory was erased so that his daughter couldn't be found by reading his mind.
The Haitian then helped the daughter to escape and find Peter Petrelli...
....I think...
Well, I'm two episodes behind, so it might become clearer then.
But he told the Haitian to go deep, which indicated that he won't be able to remember any of what's happened for years, including Claire?
