So far away I get up 4am to just watch Utd on TV
A match where we dominated possesion for the whole game, especially in the first half but failed to capitalise on clear cut chances to score.

Despite the fact that Scholes & Butt were unavailable we were tenacious in the tackle, won the ball back almost at will and strung passes together with flair and attitude. I thought Seba had a great game (man of the match?) although he too missed guilt edges opportunities to score.

Our midfield authority was a pleasure to watch and the Black Twats must have felt like they were chasing shadows for most, if not the entire game.

A brilliant, clinical strike by Giggs should have opened the "floodgates" but for whatever reason (that's football?) it didn't.

Barring the back four & the keeper, every player on the team came up short when given the chance to score and that's not likely to happen again.

Most disapointing perhaps was Ole. What a great goal that would have been if he'd just controlled it the way he has done a thousand times before?

Ruud, Keane, Veron, Becks also all had great chances to score and fluffed them all. Giggsy had many a chance to get a second, only to spurn the opportunity. Hey, shit happens in the EPL!

Our back four were pretty solid. Just the one lapse in concentration & an odd attempt by Carroll to claim the through ball and bingo...the game's deadlocked. But we should have been three or four up by then!

Credit to O'Shea for an admirable "fill-in" job at left, then right back. But clearly he's no full back. The loss of Mikkey was a huge blow & we can only hope the neck strain is not too serious. Bad enough we have to rely on Phil who tries too hard and comes up short. (did you see Keano give him a shove in the first half as if to say, "c'mon lad, feckin smarten up, this is United your playin' for!" Phizza did not look impressed but at least got on with the game.

Speaking of which, I'm a little tired of all the Keano conversation. For the same reason that he can drive the team forward, you can expect him to "lose it" and be sent off. We've watched it year after year and it's not going to change. At least his on-the-field antics now seem to take place at the end of games and don't cost us the match.

I'm not sure when his ban will start (I wouldn't bother with an appeal) but hopefully it will coincide with whatever punishment the FA decides to dish out for his ill-advised auto-biography statements. A perfect time perhaps to take the time and have "the operation" he apparently needs. (While he's in there, maybe they'll re-wire him & modify that Irish temperament...right, no chance!)

Big deal! Nicky Butt & Scholesy will be back soon. Together with the "new Veron", who seems to have a renewed, more physical approach to the English game, we'll still be the best midfield on the planet (OK so I'm biased) Other teams will not be so fortunate when we strike at their goal.

Reid & Co. know they were outclassed today and are fortunate not to have been humiliated (they should be out buying lottery tickets)...others will not be so lucky.

Yes, we dropped a couple of points but it's still early days. No need to panic, any team watching todays game knows they're going to either lose or maybe get vey lucky when they play us.

The Arse & Livershite are no match for us in midfield and they know it. Will Ole & Ruud fire blanks again? Not likely! Will our injuries clear up? Of course! Will we win the league? I wouldn't bet against it! And the cup? Probably! Be in & win the CL final at home? Sounds good to me!

Hey, keep the faith, stop whining & always remember, win, lose or draw,

Only this sentence is really true! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

you must be joking - United's midfield have been underperforming for months now. There's no spark. Tyey've been playing for years together now. Gerrard/Vieira/Silva/Pires/Murphy/Ljungberg are doing it week in week out. We need more big performances, not getting sent off and banned.

Gerrard/Vieira/Silva/Pires/Murphy/Ljungbe

well silva's played one match , RP and FL are hurt , do you relly think that murphy would play a starters role or even first off the pine at OT.
we see thing differantly m8.
