There's been growing speculation over a key United player leaving. We are definitely keen on Rio Ferdinand, but with his perfomance in the WC, his price has definitely sky rocketed. But it might work if we could give a player in exchange. Leeds are most definitely in need of a strong midfield general, so could it be possible that we could offer Roy Keane plus cash for Rio Ferdinand. Butt's performance at the WC has clearly shown that he's more than capable of filling the Roy Keane role. It will also take the heat of Veron, who seems to thrive when Keane's not playing. Keane's stepped on a lot of toes at the end of last season when he was extremely critical of the entire team. He's already 31, so it might be a good time to make the trade. Just a thought, interested in what other's think
