ARSENAL striker Thierry Henry has blasted elements of the English game for being biased towards champions Manchester United.
The French striker was speaking to the French press about his recent three-match ban for his reaction after the defeat to Newcastle at Highbury earlier in the season.
However, Henry claims that he did not appeal against the decision to ban him as he could have received a heavier punishment.
"About my sending off, I still can't understand for what reason I got a three-match ban. I never abused the referee," Henry said, who accused someone within the English game of being against Arsenal and Liverpool's title bids.
"If I had appealed, the sanction could have been heavier and I could have missed the match against Manchester United - which would have pleased someone, the one who wished I got three matches in the first place.
"I feel that Liverpool and Arsenal are disturbing the English game, because this time Manchester (United) will not get the title.
However, Henry did confirm that he will not be forced out of England.
"I was punished, but then I see what happens on the pitch with other players and I wonder," he added.
"However, this sort of thing won't push me to leave England, on the contrary, I don't care about being an unpopular figure."
Henry's comments about the bias in the English game are sure to cause waves at the Football Association and they might ask the Frenchman to explain what his comments.
