Help, can't seem to get megalupload etc to work

i cant get mega upload to work, when i download it, it comes up with this,

windows media player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available.

can anyone help or guide me!!! this happens with a couple of the others as well

appreciate any help, real frustrating
