What a glorious film. Can't believe it took me this long to watch it but I finally did when the BBC stuck it on last night.

The ending has to be one of the best cinematic scenes ever.

I actually thought it was just okay, a lot of egos flying around and could have been better than it was.
Have seen much better crime dramas.
Pacino overacts a hell of a lot, especially the scene he's asking the informant 'gimme all you got', screaming like a dick.
De Niro underacts a lot, silently brooding his way through the movie.
Val Kilmer has a ponytail, get to feck.
The ending was wank; why would you shake hands with the cnut who just shot you?
