If yes please let us know which match.
How on earth does that go down as a De Gea assist when the defenders headed it on?
Watching it on 0.25 it looks like the defender misses it.
Cavani scored against Fulham, and DDG got the assist initially. But they took it off him and gave it to Bruno in the end.
That would have been his 1st EPL assist.
Almost certain they gave that to Bruno because Cavani was miles off side from the DDG pass. So they had to say Bruno touched it for it to be a goal.
He obviously doesn't though, so it should still be DDG's assist.
Unfortunately not. It would have been ruled out if they deemed that Bruno didn’t touch it (which he didn’t, they just didn’t want to rule that kind of goal out at OT. Who can blame them?)Cavani scored against Fulham, and DDG got the assist initially. But they took it off him and gave it to Bruno in the end.

He’s never had an assist in the premier league. Not sure about other comps. If yes please let us know which match.
Yes, but then it's clearly not a goal because he's offside.
They couldn't give DDG the assist after giving the goal because that would mean admitting the referee, linesman and VAR were totally wrong and only gave the goal because of how good a finish it was. They just didn't want to look like pricks for cancelling out a potential goal of the season contender.
To be fair, i watched him stop some penalties, but the ref made the penalty shoot again (and in the second time the opo scored).More worrying than his lack of assists is his terrible record against penalty kicks. Any time the opposition gets a penalty it’s as good as a goal. The peak of this inability was him conceding all 11 penalties in the Europa league final shootout!
In his career he’s faced 71 penalties and saved 13. 16% isn’t the worst. To be fair, i watched him stop some penalties, but the ref made the penalty shoot again (and in the second time the opo scored).
Why does it matter? Just because Allison and Ederson got a couple? He’s a goalie for heaven’s sake.
Orrrr, perhaps its because liverpool and city currently have keepers that have had one or two, especially Allison. But no you’re right that’s definitely not it.Did you step on a piece of lego before you clicked on this thread? Perhaps the OP simply wants to know if he's got an assist and if so when it was and that's it.
He heads it on - 4.07 can see it clearly. Some nice goals in that game, RVP scored a cracking volley. Also forgot that Hyypia was managing Leverkusen back then.

I certainly remember him stepping up with his penalty save against Arsenal in the FA cup semi final replay to help us to a historic treble which has never been achieved again.Neither are things to really bash a keeper for.
You know how many penalties Peter Schmeichel saved for Utd?

And to be fair, he hasn’t been doing badly in that aspect since the start of last season. It’s the other areas like distribution and proactiveness that he needs to work on, and even in those, he seems to be getting better under Ten Hag.Aye Aye.
Stopping goals, *that’s his job.
Not setting them up.
